The food is always very good their rice is delicious but their prices are just too high for the amount of food you get.

My family and I have been dining here for my whole life and I have never had an unpleasant experience. Best food, authentic, great service.

Food is terrible and always gets my family and I sick. Today I found a hair in my food and my father found a chunk of wood in his drink!!! And if you think the food is bad you should see the restrooms! Yuck! Please if you’re looking to go out with friends and/or family or just for a quick bite to eat DO NOT come here! It WILL get you sick!

I used to like the restraunt but I will never go back again. The wait was over 15 minutes just to get the name in and the employees were extremely rude on multiple occations for no reason.

Amazing Chile Verde Deluxe Burrito! This was our first visit to Don Ramon's and will not be the last! The building is huge but sectioned very well to provide privacy amongst patrons. I will say this would be a nice romantic dinner place if we didn't already have 3 kids! The children are all of their Tacos and Quesadillas and my wife enjoyed her enchiladas. We would definitely recommend and return.

Good solid food, delightful service, take out is very easy and very accurate. Chicken mole enchiladas quite tasty. Good salsa. Probably only 4.5 stars because parking when they're busy is non-existent.

Had a great experience in this place with my girlfriend. The food arrived fast and the customer service is just awesome. Prices are affordable.

I want to say first. I do not rate products, services, or businesses. I rate and review skills, habits, and attitudes. You can tell right from walking in the staff really enjoyed working there and took pride in what they do. We were unsure of a sauce and asked for a sample. Our server provided us with one in less than a min. The Mole sauce is great too by the way. I had Chuy's chicken enchiladas and they were excellent. Bonus ALL the chicken they use is white meat. My girlfriend was pretty stoked about that. Thank you guys for a great experience. We will see you soon.

I went to this place 15 mins before 2 pm to grab a margarita not realizing they closed at 2pm and waited at the bar for service until I was told they were closed 5 mins after 2. Lovely service

We go here a few times a year. The food is great and the service is pretty fast. Thing I like the most is we are never rushed out the door. We’re usually catching up as a family and it’s nice that they don’t make us feel like we need to eat and get out. Great place for family and I would image for work meeting/dinner too

This is a Huntington Beach classic! Crispy tacos are amazing. Staff is friendly and food is always hot and comes out fast.

We had lunch here today with a large group, which makes its service hard to judge. The food was quite good, starting with the chips, salsa and bean dip. The margaritas were tasty, the food portions enormous. They offer well- priced lunch specials. The menu is pretty standard American-style Mexican, served tacos, enchiladas, tostada salad bowls. The atmosphere is approachable American reimagining of a Mexican cantina, with lots of colorful wall paintings.

Been a few times now because I really wanted to like this place and each time have left feeling a bit let down. Ceviche and cheese enchiladas are really good and the margaritas are pretty strong (even though the house tequila tastes pretty cheap the margaritas are still good). The several other items we have tried have just been lackluster, not terrible but just not that good. Pretty friendly service every time but usually have to search someone out if you need a refill or anything. Overall decent, okay place for food but I have had a lot better.

This place closes early so don't expect to walk in at 1:45 and get food. The rice is a little bland, but most of the main dishes are good. Wait staff is usually a bit lacking in customer service, thus the 3 stars.

I have definitely had better. The Enchiladas Suizas was not creamy or saucy, just shredded chicken wrapped up and covered with pico de gallo and condiments. They were understaffed and also took someone's order that was intended for taking home. I won't return unless invited by friends again.

Tasteless. Bland. Canned mole sauce, and not even a good can. Sickly sweet, no complexity. "Hot" salsa suitable for toddlers. Carnitas entirely without taste. Nothing wrong with the beer.

Great place! I wish they were open earlier but man they are awesome. Chips come with a great salsa and beans and with a great lunch menu, well priced you are going to be very satisfied.Thank you to the whole staff and cooks. I will return.

We went with another couple. We all had indigestion all night. The bathrooms were disgusting. Used to love going there. We will not be back. So sad.

My wife and I LOVE,..... I mean LOVE this place! It's kind of a divey restaurant. Meaning, it's older inside. The interior is dated etc. But it's always been clean when we go.We usually sit in the bar area and all the workers know and recognize us every time we go. They're all so nice and very attentive.They have happy hour M-F until 8 pm, I believe. And happy hour is fantastic there. Different tequila specials on shots, beer specials and food specials. WAIT!! I can't believe it's taken me this long to mention the bean dip. Most Mexican restaurants only serve chips & salsa. This place serves chips & salsa and bean dip. This bean dip is like a drug man. Seriously though. I tell my wife that we should only go for drinks and chips and dip. We usually get full from all the chips and dip way before the food comes 😂I'm short, we LOVE this place! 👍🏾

Very cozy place with decent food. I love their bean dip.Edit : Changing from 5 to 3 stars. Feels like everything went down from quality of food to service, especially considering their prices.

1. Safe parking. No bums or weird/crazy ppl. A BIG parking lot. Room for RV parking.2. The walk TO the restaurant has ppl going in front and in back of cars, so watch ur kids3. This place has the personality and charisma you want but not the high prices. 4. A good place for dad's to take kids. Lots of big booths so u can corral and contain the little rascals, and if ur like me, don't order for urself, just order for the kids and eat what they don't.5. The chips and salsa are put on ur table IMMEDIATELY. AND they are smart enough to bring multiple cups of salsa. 6. When you are inside you completely forget about the rest of the world. : )

Food was good. But the seating was patio chairs that hurt your back and legs.

Great salsa & bean dip. Small but cozy bar, great bartender. Very accommodating for take out. All the staff friendly and fun particularly if you know a little Spanish. Varied menu, good selection. My favorite Mexican restaurant. Prices reasonable.

I always love Don Ramon's, but tonight they proved how sweet and wonderful of a staff they have. The people I was with can be very difficult – asked to changed seats twice while we waited an entire hour for another member of our party, and finally stayed past closing. Not once did any staff indicate there was any issue, but instead were all nice and accommodating. Thank you!! And if you're reading this, I'm very sorry for my companions.Anyway, the FOOD is so good that I came back tonight while on a very short visit from New Mexico. I love the bean dip, the salsa is good... but I am forever obsessed with the veggie quesadilla. So good!! And the margaritas are pretty good, too. If you're thinking of going here, please do... just be more polite of humans than the people I was with, please. No matter how polite a wait staff is, don't be difficult for them!
